Award goes to Shawn Ray. It is a pity he did not win the mr. Olympia. Just look at this picture as evidence.

He had every part of his body developed in proportion only standout bodypart was his mouth. If it wasn't for that huge mouth he could have beaten any other bodybuilder with that condition and proportions.

Bodybuilding is not size at the expanse of everything else but the perfection of symmetry, aesthetics, proportions, mass all in accordance with each other.

Shawn you are a dick but you developed the best physique in my opinion!

Shawn's cool and I like him, but was never a big fan of his physique. And he's nowhere near complete - hit rear lat spread was pretty weak and given he competed against the likes of Haney, Yates and Coleman, he got blown away by the much bigger guys every time. I'd say Dorian in 1993 was just about the most amazing, complete physique I've ever seen - he looked f*cking mindblowing in every one of the mandatory poses, including the transition poses in-between.

as far as I know the judging standards always said that a bodybuilder should have a trim waistline with a flat belly

I respect your opinion but couldn't disagree more. Dorian played the mass game to its full potential. He sacrificed many qualties a bodybuilder should have in order to persu it.

Imagine a 6 foot Shawn Ray or better yet a 6'4" white Shawn Ray in the form of Alex stepping on stage at the Olympia!!
