I had the pleasure of dining with Laura and Mike this past Sunday night, and the photos really do not do her justice. Laura has a beautiful face and is in phenomenal condition. Unlike that skeleton featured in the above photo, Laura actually has the perfect amount of muscle and she was kind enough to pull up her shirt while seated at the table to show us an etched 6-pack. The fact is that Laura is not only in better shape than 99% of this board will ever be, but she has more muscle as well.

It may be fashionable to bash people's photos on getbig, but trust me, in person there is absolutely nothing to bash about Laura other than the fact that she doesn't order dessert.

PS. Not as if anyone cares, but my past dead Pro Bodybuilder Hans used to HATE when people would say "how many in your class" and most usually that question came from someone that had no clue about bodybuilding and would never get on a stage.

Well, you don't have any control over the competition, only yourself. Most of us are not Phil Heath and don't win our first and second shows and turn pro. Most of us use our first show as a learning experience and make improvements based upon what we learn. I'm sure she'll place better in future shows. I don't see anything wrong with posting your pre-contest or contest photos as long as you're in shape and not looking like Goodrum making some mockery of bodybuilding. Besides, we all know a woman can't really place high in fitness/figure contests without using man-like dosages of gear and gh.

I have no desire to compete.  While she is putting all of this effort, focus, and money into this prep and staring at her last place trophy, my focus is career and investing my money.  Hence they live in a tiny apartment and I live in a nice big home.  When I have kids I will have the means to pay for their proper education and nice lifestyle.  they need to get priorities straight.

there were a total of 9 contestants in that class
Laura for her first show enters a Level 5 Florida Woman's open figure class (that is about the equivalent of a National show somewhere else) She places 5th (and everyone even the judges told her had she been allowed in the Masters class she would have been top 2 or 3) Hedge............you just hate Laura and take Ur shots at her wherever/ whenever you can (and Ron is a prick for not getting rid of Ur gay azz....)
Laura entered a National qualifer first time outta the gate and placed 5th
If you think she really sucks then how will you explain how well she will place this June?!?!?
