If Dave Mustaine could have found a singer for Megadeth like Steve Souza (Exodus) or Chuck Billy (Testament) Megadeth would have had a lot more cross over appeal to non-Thrash fans in the 80s. His vocals put a lot of people off...

watch the intro to this: www.deanguitars.com and listen/watch the intro. Tell me if Metallica has written a riff even remotely as cool as that in over 10 years.

Mustaine is the master of those huge pinky/forefinger streches, his riffs and chuggs are wicked.

Metallica isn't even metal anymore.... they're a great country rock band, probably the best in that category.  But now a horrible metal band    ;D
