The last time Shawn was on PBW, he was very respectful to King. I seem to remember him saying that he no longer had any issues with Kamali and that he respected Kamali as a fellow pro and a fellow writer for MuscleMag.
Fast Forward to last night's show. When Bob asked King about Shawn. King went ahead and threw out all of these below-the-belt insults and he took crazy shots at Shawn. After listening to King tonight I am going to say that Shawn earned a lot of respect in my book.
Hummmmm....I wouldn't jump to that conclusion so fast, mister.
On his last adventure, FIT BY FORTY DVD on fitshow (or something like this

), on the trailer Shawn is caught asking to a clown (a real one) who was probably working at his daughter's birthday party if he was King Kamali (LOL!!!!). I can't see that as being respectful......
Let's not forget that Mr. Ray has an agenda for EVERY MOVE he makes when it comes to bodybuilding. It doesn't get real "FOR REAL" whenever Shawn has his hands full on something. There's always something there behind the curtains. And I can't blame him.....the guy made a tremenduous carrer out of playing a character in the bb industry: the athlete character, the unstopable contender who no matter what allows anything get in between his quest to the prizes in the championships he took part on, the entrepeneur character, the business man character......
But to my mind his last shot to his own honor was the feud with Milos Sarcev that broke loose in these boards. The guy had the guts to even bring Sarcev's wife to the discussion. It doesn't get any lower than that......
Like the great Mike Quinn once said when asked about Shawn in a FLEX FILE pictorial, and I quote:
"As an athlete, a work of art. As a person, an asshole."
Sage words.....
