If i recall correctly, cro-cops losses have been to the better grapplers, not the average ones, so in theory, randy could take cro-cop down and ground and pound him, but on the other hand, cro-cop catches randy on the way in and the fight is over, think it will be a great fight either way

However CC defended pretty good against Fedor on the ground and will probably not be troubled there.

Back on their feet, Mirko will own him bad. He'll probably not go for the high kicks, just some boxing with low kicks mixed in.

Randy surprised me to no end, what a performance from him. Its the stuff dreams are made from and you only ever see in a film, but lets be serious here. Crocop is a killer who would have KO'd Tim within 2 easy rounds, Randy isnt going to pull of a miracle by any means. If he manages to beat Mirko i will openly pay $100 to anyone willing to take a bet with me.

I fully expect Mirko to walk through anybody that has the balls to fight him and fight Fedor for a "unification" bout in January 2008

All these fights could have gone the other way but nobody is unbeatable. Mirko has been criticized that when he is pushed, he wilts like a bully.  In the Hunt and Fedor fight, he realized his best strikes (multiple kicks and straight left hands) weren't effective at all.  Fedor stood with CC and won.  As did Hunt.  If Mirko was smart, he would have grounded Hunt and subbed him.  Good luck doing that to Fedor, though.  Against Randy, he will stay at range and pick him apart.  In the second Wandy fight, CC did a lot of damage from inside Wandy's guard, swelling Wandy's right eye.  The LHK came right at Wandy's right eye, which was effectively closed by Mirko's underappreciated GNP.

Thanks for the list and results, actually had a friend of mine tell me about cro-cop losing to the grapplers, he is a bigger pride fan than i am, but i am coming around, just really enjoy all mma, even the bodog fights on ion network, so i guess i am learning, but again, thanks for the list

Randy's only hope would be to use the cage to his advantage, get the takedowns and hold Crocop down for 5 rounds... he's not gonna stand up in this one.

I can see where Randy was coming from taking on Sylvia, he saw his limits as a fighter and capitalized on it...  unfortunately, Crocop happend to join the UFC at the same time... otherwise we would've seen Randy fight Arlowski or someone like that, where he has a great chance winning.

Either way, I don't think Randy made a mistake coming back, some good money, he's back in the action, got the belt again etc.
