"Albany County District Attorney David Soares said celebrities and professional athletes from a variety of sports have been identified as buyers, but he would only name body builder Victor Martinez as an unindicted co-conspirator.

"We're looking to leverage witnesses," Soares told reporters, saying he might threaten them with indictments if they decline to cooperate with investigators."

They just told the world they plan to force Vic M to rat? What the hell is wrong with them? Aside from the fact they're smearing him here, why put the guy at that kind of risk? Dirty tricks there.

They had made a point in the case to say they are going after the distributors and not the buyers...All they are really doing is throwing around names that people know right now to rattle some cages thats it...Trust me one of the "pharmacies" that is getting in trouble is right by where I live in Alabama....

Doesn't Vic already have a conviction? If so, it's smart to go after him as he would be looking at more time than any first time offender.

This whole steroid war in america is messed up.. instead of getting crack and meth off the streets the justice system is worried about athletes using performance enhancing substances.. screwed up.

'athletes' and 'performance enhancing substances'?

While I do agree that crack and meth are a bigger issue, most users have little edication on proper use of anabolics and PCT's and could easily harm themselves...

WHO CARES why is the goverment wasting money on investigating steriods? everyone involved are adults. if they want to use steriods let them.
