where's galactus?  You know what they say....when you see the silver surfer galactus can't be too far behind, well at least that's what they used to say...the comic book nerds that is and yes, I am a comic book nerd.

anyway for those that don't know SS is the "herald of galactus".  Galactus is a devourer of worlds, he basically sucks the life force out of a world, SS goes and finds worlds that are suitable for him to devour.  If I remember right, SS comes......fights the FF and then Galactus comes and the FF fight him and finally the SS turns on Galactus or something like that.

Yeah there are no clips of Galactus, however Frankie Raye, who was Johnny Storm's girlfriend is in the movie and she eventually becomes Galactus' herald after Terrax was defeated.

isn't she called "nova" or something...man, I don't know my marvel stuff all that well.  I always liked Firelord, that guy was pretty cool when it came to Heralds even though he got his ass handed to him by spiderman..which never made sense.  The guy's got the f'n power cosmic and spidey beats his ass?  C'mon now.

I've never been much of a a surfer fan but he does look cool in the movie.

Yeah, the first one was pretty boring and even the fight with Doom was lame, but hopefully the 2nd one will be better.

they actually filmed an FF movie back in the early 90's.  marvel wanted to jump on the Batman movie success and filmed Captain America, FF and The Punisher.  FF and Cap's movie never, ever, ever saw the light of day.  Not even video release cause they were sooooooo bad.  You used to be able to rent the punisher movie.
