This was one of those times that being a poor high schooler helped, I wanted so bad to do the full EAS stack, but could only afford Myoplex and Phosphagen. I remember also buying the 1st version of Phosphagain, which was horrible stuff.

Got curious and dug up some more stuff on this from a trusted source -

" Roland is a nice guy. He told me that he never signed a release for his appearance in the video, and that it was edited to make him look like a fool. He said that he was going to sue Phillips, but I don't think the lawsuit went anywhere, because the video was not sold for profit. "

1) Bill took private lessons with Dan Inosanto for many years back in the 90's, early 20's.

2) This is rumor, but it was sworn to by some deep in the industry back in the 90's - Bill Phillips allegedly ran off with a certain well mustached Mr. Olympia winners roid stash back when he was trying to be a competitive bodybuilder, and was scared to come back to California for a number of years. Then when MM2000 jumped on the scene, Mr. O and Phillips sorted everything out, and everything went back to good between them.
