« on: March 08, 2007, 03:47:36 PM »
I try to keep it simple with a general multi in the AM

a b12 for energy an hour before the gym

and an extra C in the winter taken in the afternoon

any suggestions/advice from those in the know?

I wouldn't waste your time with the B12. From what I've read most of it is destroyed in the digestion process. Which is why I inject it.

Find a good '3 a day' vitamin and take it with each meal.  Taking a vitamin only once per day is not the most effective method since the body will relatively quickly flush water soluble vitamins and many minerals out.

Opti-Men 2 is now my choice of vitamin since it also has a nice anti-O profile, Now Adam is also a good one.

you must use methylcobalamin....not the typical cyanocobalamin..... put the methyl B12 under the tongue. Jarrow makes a good product.

PS- to the original poster....I think that minerals are more important that vitamins....Ca+ and Mg+ are the most important.
