oh dont get me wrong,,ray is a leage of his own,,one of the best ever,,but you need to pay attention who dexter jackson compete against!!! that guy,,dex,,is the best walking bodybuilder on planet earth now days,,because at 225lb he put 275lb bodybuilders to shame,,he has call outs with beasts on a regular basis and he is not even close to their size,,yet give the impression he is only with a hell of a lot better condition

Dex is overrated, sorry but he is. Too many 'weak' parts for a small guy, he should NEVER win an Olympia but then again I feel the say way about Jay. Shawn Ray would destroy Dex any day, Shawn had calves, a back and something Dex could never do.... an awesome vacuum pose, sad that a small well conditioned Dex has a uncontrollable gut, he has never had a flat stomach it has always either been rounded or protruding.

this guy is right,,ray is already past his career and is one of the best ever while dex still havent said his last word and thats why i never mention him in any ratings when i talk about the best ever,,

ray was perfect for his time or anytime to that matter,,but he didnt have mass monsters and beasts walking next to him by the dozens,,he had a very hard field of quality physiqes some bigger some smaller,,,but it was all still under somewhat size control,,

now days it is a diff game,,,look at wolf,,i like this guy a lot but you wouldnt find a thing like that in the 90s,,you wouldnt find a jason cutler like that in the 90s either,,yet you bring "little" dex and put him next to wolf and wolf dissapears,,,take branch and put dex next to him and branch also dissapears off the radar,,and you talking here about monsters and beasts that weight a hell of a lot more than dex,,

too flat ?yes sometimes you cant be always 100% on spot,,calves? dont matter  much to the ifbb as long as you have something there ,,

priest and melvin all very good bodybuilders but they are built completely diff than dex,,dex has a skinny boy built that added TONS OF MUSCLE,,GOOD QUALITY MUSCLE IN THE RIGHT PLACES,,

i assure you upon waking up in the morning if you take tape mesurement,,dex waist line is the smallest EVER in the bodybuilding history,,smaller than most girls that walking around you,,all that while bring 225lb of pure conditioned big thick shaped cut to the bone muscle

Dexter looks amazing in the gym ect.  But strip him down and throw him on stage and he has a very odd looking physique...Alien like...Other bodybuilders love this guy because he is never over 8% bodyfat...So they see him as a freak...The truth is if a contest was judged fairly...Shawn Ray would beat dexter 99 times out of 100 if Ray come in conditioned every time...

Take a good look at S. Ray at 19 years old and take a look at dexter around the same age and tell me who not only has the better genetics but has a more complete body...Dexter is a middle weight in a heavy weights body...
