It's got nothing to do with computers..they're fake plates, they weigh about 10 lbs. ea.

Sure...I've done both. Much harder with real weight, given that 95% of the shots are NOT in the same position you would normally use...holding the weight in position, having oil on makes lying on a bench very challenging....
