In his prime Shawn by far the best. Every body part was VERY good, nothing could even have been considered just good. Everything tied in together great and nothing was over powering. His conditioning was always on and his posing/stage presence was one of the best.

No on all counts, it was never that cut & dry. Conditioning was *not* that great, usually some water, as the comparison pics here confirm. And he was too small. For overall balance guys like Padilla were better.

I am going by my personal opinion only and being from the "era" shawn was dominant in I am of course biased. Shawn is short and it hurt him on the big stage, I do agree there.

This site seems pretty biased. Depending on when the poster got into bodybuilding, usually dictates which generation of bodybuilders they prefer. It's like music. Music was far better 10-15 years ago (more quality), but ask that to a kid in the teens or early 20's and they will disagree with you.

Its ok, hes been owned so many times in the truce thread that hes given up on it and is now trying to turn this into another billion page snorefest  ::)

It depends on what judging criteria you think is most important

Shawn had great symmetry, no weak body parts, good conditioning, but he wasn't huge

Dex has good symmetry, a few lagging areas (calves, lats), extremely good conditioning, and he is more muscular than shawn

I would have to give it to Dexter
