I'm not calling anyone a lier here but i find it hard to believe that you can bust up your knuckles that badly i mean most guys first punch is usually directed at the chin hoping for a glass jaw but the Derrek's hand being cut up like he said would have to pretty much had to connect right at the bottom of the teeth that would be a hell of a wild punch just my opinion

Well, I'll speak on this only.

Certain styles of martial arts... particularly Wing Chun Kung Fu, do happen to punch with the lower three knuckles...

If he were to be practicing on a Makiwara, or perhaps a mook jong, he very well may have caused that kind of damage to his knuckles.

I have no first hand knowledge of what happened to his hand, however.

Don't believe the hype. If you KOed some guy, he must have had a glass chin to cut every knuckle on your hand. If it was broken with one punch, it would swell and bruise, but it obviously isn't.

Either you were punching a bag with straps on only, conditioning the knuckles, or you were that shit a puncher, you hit the ground numerous times before you connected.
