Tuna re-loaded!
« on: March 18, 2007, 06:41:40 PM »
For all you REAL competitive bodybuilders out there (roids or not), here is a good way to have your tuna up to 4weeks out. After the 4week mark, its back to raw and plain tuna.

TUNA PASTE:

1 can tuna (in water)

1/2 cup non-fat cottage cheese

2tbl spn dijon spicy mustard

1tbl spn dill relish

Onions (to taste)

Mix it all together and eat cold.

Everybody at work smug and get disgusted when I pull out my tuna paste but hey, its better then eating the crap by itself.

Why not just eat a big mac... it is actually tasty with more nutritional value.

I am trying to give people an option so they don't have to be miserable. This is an industry built on lies.

Just mustard and pickle relish is good by itself - I prefer canned salmon.  It's also good with a cooked yam mashed in.  Brown rice mixxed in too is ok.

If you have integrity, you dont have to worry about the lies in the industry.  It's called confidence in your own abilities.  I've been competing for 4 years now, the tuna paste has never failed me.  BTW, if your competing you should have already come to terms with the lack of taste in foods.  Going to McDonalds would be defeating the purpose of dieting, right?  Excluding the minute hidden carbs in the relish and mustard, this meal is filling and only has 7 grams of carbs.  Give it a try.

If your on a high carb day have a potato sandwich after your workout with your protein powder.

1 med. potato (cut in half)

2 slices bread

put em' together and chow down, thats 54 g of high glycemic carbs ramming all that free flowing nutrient matter in your muscles.  OOOOOOHHHRRAAAHHH!
