HOW COME DORIAN YATES WAS EVER MR O???????????????

It amazes me how Dorian Yates ever became Mr O....especially when they're as beasts like Flex, Nasser, Levrone who should have beaten him.....he had weird torn biceps and triceps and weird looking abs all he had was a decent back and wheels....Levrone and Nasser OWNED Dorian on every other pose and he knew it.

He never should have been Mr O from 1992-97....it should have been:
1992: Kevin Levrone
1993: Flex Wheeler
1994: Shawn Ray
1995: Kevin Levrone
1996: Shawn Ray
1997: Nasser

I'd rather loook like Nasser than Dorian anyday

if anything, 92 was Shawns year but they went for quality mass. 1993 was unquestionable as nobody was even close to him. From then on it was suspicious but he was a worthy enough champion

the problem is people go by pictures, cause most of them were not there, and if you've ever been to a show, you know the "athletes" look better in person than in a pic, like me, in a pic i look like i have a gut and carrying some extra bodyfat but in real life, oh yeah, bad example

Agreed on 1992. levrone had no lats that year. When he hit the FDB, he disappeared.

i was at 91 and 95. from the second they came on stage in 95 yates was the clear winner.

Actually kyomu was at some of the shows and said that Yates was less impressive in person.

...it was his time. He ushered in a new era of size over everything else. If symmetry were paramount Flex, Kevin etc, would have won.
The Mr O has NEVER gone back to symmetry first as the criteria for a champion. It's been size and conditioning that's determined the winner for  the last decade and a half

this list goes on and on about praise for yates.

you either ignore it or cant read.
