No... somethings just make sense to me. It started off with Layne Norton and i used to follow everything he said. As i started learning more and more from adonis he made sense too and i have applied those principles and gotten great results. Layne even agrees with Adonis on alot of things. Bodybuilding is based on gym science. This is silly and why many people struggle with it when everything is rather simple. People like to complicate their lives and make things harder then they have to be for some reason.
Everything works, but nothing works forever dude. At your age, your metabolism will allow you to get lean as long as you stay in a slight caloric deficit, even if you eat junk or 'normal' food. After 25, you'll have a harder time and while you'll stay lean, you'll never be muscular, which is what bodybuilding is about.
A calorie is a calorie only in terms of how much it's Energy value is. Different macro and micro nutrients have different elements and compounds, so in the context of human nutrition, esp. for the purpose of gaining muscle, you can't simply say a 'calorie is a calorie'.
Trust me, if I want, I could have a logical debate with Team Adonis in the V in which I'll take on all of you guys and destroy your theory. The only reason I won't do it is cause I don't take you guys seriously. Just because you're a bit leaner than an offseason bodybuilder doesn't mean you know more. Jay Cutler's in the offseason at the moment and is chubbier than you are, so do you mean to say you know more about him simply cause you can see your abs and he can't at the moment? Please tell me even you're not that stupid.
