When I came here 2 years ago, Chad was taking major heat here.   The Prince, Wheeler, etc were fresh and it was ugly.  I guess time forgives, and results talk.  He could place 3 of the top 5 guys at the Olympia (vic M, Melvin, Ronnie).

I think Victor would have won the Arnold in spite of teh chad and would have probably peaked correctly without him. discuss!

I don't think Victor could have done it without Chad. Victor has had so much potential with his genetics and for so long he came into shows with great muscularity but not enough vascularity. He knew Chad could fix, so he connected the dots.

Chad is the most biaised trainer out there, so he will predict that the top 5 will all be guys that he trains.

Ronnie is right on track to look his best ever

Vic is leaner than ever at this point of the prep and he will look his best ever

Melvin is rested and you will defininatly see the best melvin ever at the O

I would like to ask Chad if he knows of any type of nutritional modulation that can significantly increase the size and number of androgen receptors while decreasing the size and number of estrogen receptors?  The availability of this type of dietary manipulation would seem to be of benefit to any bodybuilder.  If Chad by chance reads this post, maybe he would be willing to provide us with his input on this subject here.

I want to see some *REAL* not b.s fluff questions get asked... you guys are too easy on some of the guests.. ask some real hard hitting questions..

I'm curious for one if chad has any formal medical training/background... does he have a doctorate, etc. or is he just a diet savant ?

Didn't Melvin place 4th or Fifth last year?
If so, moving up one to two spots is not that hard. Especially since Ronnie now has half a back and left side in general, and Victor has numerous (numerous is the operative word here) charges with a criminal history- and was just linked to yet another possible charge. So, Vic may not even be able to compete.
It's very likely 240 could be correct, even if everything remains the same as it did last year.

Ask The Chad what Flex Wheeler and Tom Prince both have in common (besides having worked with him).

Also, ask him how Kovacs suddenly came down with a case of stage IV Palumboism while working with him.

Vic is hit-or-miss, and peaks in MAYBE 50% of the shows he does.
Ronnie has a torn lat and could win it or take 6th or could drop out.
Dex could be 3-6.
No Gunter.  no Heath.  Branch and Gus and Tony - not top 4 dudes.

A completely well rested Melvin, on the magic cocktail, yes top 3 is very possible.

Let me help you out a bit. Melvin has NO CHANCE of beating Victor (or Ronnie and Jay). Do the math. That already puts him fourth, where he will not place anyway. Funny you say Vic is hit or miss with condition because the same thing has been said about Melvin for since he turned pro. Moving on, he also has virtually no chance of beating Dexter, who makes him look smooth even when Mel is in his best shape. Now he's back to fifth at best. However, he will struggle with Toney this year who is hitting his condition and will dwarf him. Gustavo would have beaten Melvin, again, at the Olympia had he looked like he did on Saturday for the Friday prejudging. The best he'll do is fifth behind Ronnie, Jay, Dex and Vic (in no particular order) and he could go as low as 7th behind Toney and Gustavo.
Enjoy your dish...

How's that? Are you delusional enough to think Melvin can make the top three too? He will not he any higher than fifth. Take it to the Australian bank.

Sush, It's you that's in denial.. Blind people can even see that Melvin has all the tools to make a dent in the top three. You can take that to the karaoke bar!
