Gary Strydom was the star act in Vince McMahons challenge to the IFBB....When Vince created the ill fated WBF, Gary was this companies figurehead, a marketers dream.....I feel sorry for Gary. Vince essentially destroyed this great man

I believe that the WBF did not entirely ruin Gary's career. He actually became more well known through the WBF.

I believe the other defectors got fined by the IFBB when they returned to the IFBB...Quinn, Baker, etc...but I dont believe Gary was ever fined for returning to the IFBB....

I dont believe Strydom sufferred monetarily...well he did in a way because he would have placed high in IFBB contests and would have won a lot of money through his winnings but didnt Strydom actually own the Crazy Wear franchise which made him a millionaire?

Gary leads a dream life....successful company he has minimal management responsibilities for, a fantastic body, investments, ...one of the few bodybuilders who I have any respect for....I dare anyone to compare his financial situation to pretty much any IFBB pro.....including "JAY"
