This is a fight in japan by Pride which was recently bought up by The Fertitta brothers who owns UFC.

Anyway this fight is awesome dude, and also shows that bigger isn't always better. (i'm a big fan of UFC & Pride)

For all the MMA newbies out there;

1. Size doesn't necessarily mean that much in a fight
2. This match was a joke to begin with; only a beginner would think Fedor could lose
3. Fedor hasn't been defeated by anyone for 5-6 years. He's undisputed MMA heavyweight champ of the world

Yes, and happens to be undefeated since 2001 or so. So, not just a professional figher, but the best fighter in the world at the moment

There was a similar fight in Ultimate Fighter infancy where a white karatae guy was fighting a 400 pound black sumo guy and the little dude rocked the big guy to win. I think the white guy breaks his hand on the other guys head.

yeah...Keith Hackney.The black sumo guy,Emanual Yarlboro was over 600 pounds.had never really fought before.He was a very soft spoken guy.That was back when the UFC was great.

Do you think Fedor is small??? He weights 106kgs! Sure he is not a small guy!!!!! I consider small guys, those who weight less than 90 kgs! Fedor is the world's HEAVYWEIGHT champion! Zulizinho is a fat guy, that doesn't know how to fight... over 100 kgs what causes the unbalance among fighters is their stamina, and fighting technique.

This was a fight???...I would NOT have stopped the fight at that point. From what I can see it seems the biggest problem for the Black guy was his WEIGHT!!! It seems he is battling his weight more so than the competitor. I would however have allowed the fight to continue so that a fair chance can be given to the big guy to get back on his feet and try again. He looks like he was surprised by being punched and the shock of it caused him to step back and then fallover...he then tries to get up and again trips backwards, but he never stopped trying to fight. He seems hemmed up by his own weight. I think the referee should have allowed this to continue and then given the big guy a chance to get up and try again...I think things would have turned out different. Do I think he would have won? NO, but It would have ben a more interesting fight than this 20 second joke.

Fedor sometimes reminds me a lot another great figter, and former number one, Igor Vovchanchyn (sp). In fact even his 'crazy crusades' punches are somewhat similiar, in the way they do and in power
