now those are some great posts and the help I needed. bulk my ass off keep it clean m thru fri and endulge a little on the weekends. 4k in clean cals and do cardio only when fueled and 1x a week or on an off day.
Whatever you do, don't over-complicate things. I always think that even for a naturally lean guy, it's still a good idea to eat relatively clean while bulking, but there is no reason to get anal about it in the off-season. Now if you were someone like me who puts on size fairly easily, both the good and the bad kinds, then you definitely have to be a little more carefull. Your plan to eat clean during the wk and indulge on the wk end is fine, but if you get the urge to eat something a little "dirtier" during the wk, I doubt it would hurt
someone like you. Through it all, use the mirror and a good set of eyes to judge your progress...find someone who is more experienced who can look at you periodically to give you good critique...our own eyes can be very deceiving.
ill add some good nuts almonds cashews or something late night too.....how is muscle milk? this all will keep me lean eight wo cardio? I know I'm not gonna be shreded but I will be come contest time.
Again, stop worrying so much about staying "lean." Right now this is not a problem. I'm not saying get fat, but as long as you keep fretting over your abs, your progress is going to be hindered. As for the nuts, raw almonds would be the best choice. Any nut or legume is fine, they just need to be raw if you're going to get the full nutritional value. As for the muscle milk, I love the taste and it will give you a boost in calories for sure, but over all I'm not a huge fan...there are better options.
why do I want to drop the npp? I just got it. how bout if I just use it foor cycle numero uno?

There is nothing wrong with a little cardio when bulking, I don't care who you are..keeping a healthy cardio vascular system is very important, keeping your metabolism revving will also make gains come easier. However, keep it in balance, if you're not gaining quality size, then examine things, and make necessary adjustments.

Use them to supplement your diet, not as mainstays. If you can eat "real' food then do that.
