Yeah so I just bought the Wifey a new pit... This time we got a male thank god...Payed 300 for the lil guy but I was intent on getting him just from the picture... Turns out when we showed up he was the one we fell in love with. In the picture he is only 4 weeks old. Dont get him untill next weekend or so.. Hes the one with his paw up in the air and the one in the middle of the picture. Now we just have to figure out a name.

We're under the impression that the people who had him before the county seized him kept him chained up, and his teeth appear really worn down for his age, and thats probably from chewing on the chain constantly. The aren't as small as the pic makes them look though.

As you can see, he's still got nice, healthy teeth and a perfect scissor bite, but they are a bit worn down, no point to his big teeth, almost as if they filed them down... $:-\$

I was going to say the same thing. It just didn't seem like a big row of teeth.

The Rottie we have has a row of teeth like I've never seen before. I guess it's normal for the breed, but I swear I've never seen such a wide row of teeth.

Well I get my lil guy tomorrow and then I shall post some pictures of him... I'm jacked took off work and everything tomorrow...... How long until I can rest easy of taking him into public and not catching Parvo... I've heard mixed results... First time having a puppy so young... He'll be 7 weeks old

7 weeks...pretty young.

Honestly, the day my g/f got the pup....he was out & about. Because he was still a youngster, he wasn't on a leash & walking in the public on his own until he seemed ready (at that point he must of been 12 weeks). He was a big pup to begin with....going upstairs was slow...but he could do it. Going down stairs...he would just sit there & look down - lol

"I'd wait until they've had the first two dhpp shots and 4-5 months of age. even so it can still be too early, we had a dog/puppy completely on time with all its shots come in and die today from, parvo, so wait as long as you can." -

That's just horrible....what kind of life does ANYTHING have on a freaking chain.

Your pup is very cute...but I like this one the best.
