Rocky looking good Laura!
So cute!  Does he swim?  We had a Border Collie mix (probably some Lab in her) that swam all the time.  She'd try to race us if we swam laps :)
Yeah he swims all the time. He doesn't actually swim in the pool (fell in when young and isnt really that fussed on the pool ever since, lol) but we're only about a 2 minute walk to the beach, so he gets a swim every day.

Dakota has been limping a lot for thr past year, and the vet hasn't been able to give us a definitive anwser on what it is exactly, something to do with the shoulder joint. But its improved quite a lot lately, and since the limping started, we have been swimming him more and walking him a bit less. Hopefully it continues to improve...
No doubt about it...

Have you ever tried something like "Joint Max?"

Well he takes glucosamine every night with dinner, and he just finished a course of these tablete called "controphin" (sp). He's currently not taking these now, but if he starts limping aging, we give him some again till it stops. Seems to work quickly and effectively. We're just stumped as to how this occured. he has a dog friend who is a staffy and he use to run around all crazy and wrestle with her. Maybe he hurt it doing that? He doesn't really run around anymore, well we try to stop him anyway...

I think there is glucosamine in the Joint Max.

Hope Dakota heals up more quickly :)
