For me, it's either all or nothing.

If I start having one cheat day when I eat something sweet (Chocolate, Cookies etc.), eventually I'll be eating sweets everyday.

I don't.

I was just wondering how other people deal with the constant temptation of sweets. Let's face it. They're everywhere. In any food store they're always close to the cash register, so you have to pass them.

i never bother to buy some. i just don't like sweets.
but i know they are addictive, i had the problem with donuts before. once you ate one, you want to eat one everyday.
But to me, it's no problem to control myself and just not buy one.

I made an easter platter the other night , 2 big choc bunnies , creame eggs , caramel etc etc

Easter weekend soon whoop whoop !

If im gonna binge I just try to make sure its on a heavy workout/game day and reserve my calories somewhat till then...

Binge days KILL my progress , binge meals seem to help sometimes.........once a week im sweet.

I try to NEVER have anything like lollies/ice cream in the house , recipe for disaster  :P

i have a harder time avoiding pizza and pasta then sweets.
i love italian food, but i try to avoid any restaurant.

if you prepare your meals at home, it's no problem, but in the restaurants, you cannot avoid getting fat.
i try to keep it low, so maybe once every two months.

I feel your pain. As there is nothing my taste buds would rather have than a dozen glazed donuts.  But the Insuline spike, and drop from eating such food is horrible for staying cut.  I used to add about 8 table spoons of sugar to my coffee ( extra large coffee cup ).  I am trying to get off coffee though, so I switched to tea, of which I use packets of the pink stuff to sweeten it up.  Thus far I am down 8 pounds of fat / water.  Cutting sugar out of my diet is the best thing I ever did.
