When it was just my pug, Sammie then yes, I let him sleep with me and my girl. But now that we got a second dog, forget it. I can't sleep well for the same reason you mentioned above. It's my fault that I should have crated him from day one.
But they're getting used to not sleeping with us now in their crates.

I never let my dog on the bed. This makes your dog think he or she runs the show, its best for them to know otherwise.

Dog....no...he's crated.
Cat sleeps in her own area. She never climbs on bed or counter tops for that matter.

I have Cody's pet bed on the floor by the side of my bed. He gives me kisses every night before we go to sleep. He sleeps there at night for the most part. Sometimes he will sleep in another location, maybe I snore too much on those nights

Why do you crate him at night? Does he make mischief if left out? Even when I crated them during the day once they were house broken I left them out at night cause they were just sleeping.
I personally felt bad crating them during the day and at night. Tad would sleep in his crate at night with the door opened until he was able to jump up on the couch or chair, now he just eats in there. Mainly to protect the other dogs from him trying to steal their food. (and him to not get his head bit off in the process)

Well, because he's pretty much a trouble maker. If he's unsupervised...he will eat the couch & everything else.
Honestly...his crate is in the other room & always left with the door open. It's funny....but sometimes when he gets tired...thats where he goes automatically.
Maybe when he gets a little older...but for now...it seems he just likes wrecking everything. Thats why as much as I can...I talk him for walks, to the park, throw a ball outside, etc.... Even when I do that...he still wants more. I will have to say...he's slowly getting better as he's getting older. He's just got too much silly boy in him right now.

No...they all got their own place on the couch downstairs. I am someone who doesn't believe in sleeping with pets...the pack leaders are sleeping up stairs...the lower rank dogs are sleeping downstairs..
