The last thing i heard from them was 'tempo of the damned', which was ok - but lacked the reckless aggression of the early years.

Heaven and Hell is a classic album! I'm going to see the reformed 'Heaven and Hell' era Black Sabbath when they come to England! Sharon 'cancer girl' Osbourne won't let them use the name Black Sabbath

Sharon 'cancer ####' Osbourne won't let them use the name Black Sabbath I'm convinced that was Iomi's best guitar solo work and Sabbath's most musical album. If it makes any sense, other albums had better songs.

I know what you mean, although personally i don't like any of the 'Ozzy' albums - except maybe the first one. Everytime i see him goofing around on TV i want to kill the fucker. And his kids.

Dio had a better voice for sure, but the first 5 Sabbath albums can't be beat.

Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, and ALL of Dio's solo stuff is better than early Sabbath. Overated garbage. Its no wonder Zeppelin used to laugh at them. Probably still do.

Thats his only good song! Everything else sounds the same to me. My brother went to see him live when he did g3, i think it was called, and said he was a brilliant showman. Led Zeppelin were rubbish though...they had a good drummer but that was it...they are pure overrated garbage That is the most ludicrous thing i've ever heard. Go and blow up some kids, you guiness drinking irish TWAT. [no offense] ZEPPELIN RULE!

Not really. Even more ludicrous is saying that all Dio's solo stuff is better than early Black Sabbath, have you ever listened to the albums after Holy Diver especially the later ones??? Robert Plant's gay, whiny voice gets on my tits...and don't get me started on Jimmy Page Oh, I'm not offended at all. The day a "kipper" offends me is the day I'll start cutting my wrists

Lol, touche You say Plant sounds gay - but what about ozzy? He can't even sing in tune! Between 69 and 77 Zeppelin were untouchable. After that Plant lost his voice, Page turned into a hermit, Jones fucked off and Bonham died. But while they lasted they were the Kings of rock. [like Manowar are the Kings of Metal] I have evey Dio album, and the only one thats 'difficult' is Angry Machines. Even you must admit Ozzys solo work is pathetic. Have you seen his updated version of chnges with kelly

Have you seen his updated version of chnges with kelly Blizzard of Oz is a classic, everyone should have a copy of it. Great album. After that I don't care for his solo stuff. Ozzy's inability to sing in tune added to the music and what Black Sabbath tried to do in their early albums, IMO. It is when he tries to do some straight forward metal or rock, he just doesn't have the voice for it, though Blizzard of Oz is great!

I bought the cassette of Blizzard of Oz for 10p from a jumble sale. A complete waste of money. I will admit the guitarist was pretty good though. Whats his recent work like? [ha ha] Here it is: the worst Sabbath song made even more despicable by a grunting, tuneless pig. That family has no shame. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6i1ywioIm0
