UFC is so gay, half the time its just two almost naked guys rolling around the floor wiht their legs tight around eachothers waists and their faces like two inches apart.

Now i know BB can get a little gay, but there aint no contact. (DA excluded)

I hear y'all...I was just bitching about this the other day. It's definitely really obvious when someone is posing, and I think it's just fucking ridiculous. Hopefully this is just a temporary trend that just comes with the exploding popularity of the sport.

Personally I enjoy the training, it's fun to spar with my buddies, they usually like having someone my size to practice against and it's a great way to learn some cool moves. On the other hand though, i wouldn't walk around calling myself a fighter. I see these kids. They stand in front of a mirror and think they have the image to be a pro fighter cuz of the way their neck looks or cuz of how cool they lok in a Full Contact Fighter t-shirt. Image is nothing!!! I wanna pound all of those kids.

I'd have to disagree, too. PRIDE seems pretty thin - a few standouts, but lots of scrubs. Where washed-up UFCers like Baroni and Belfort go to find new life.

The owners of the UFC just bought Pride. Pride will now be the Fertitta's Japanese expansion plan. They've taken Nogueira for UFC, and already have CroCop. Anyway, there is no longer a "UFC > Pride" fictional fan-made competition.

I'll actually watch Pride or K1 occassionally if they are on TV and I don't have some football, baseball or basketball on to watch.

From my very, very green viewpoint, it looks to me like a solid leg strike is far more devestating when it comes to knockout power than a hand strike. Could be wrong but it just seems that way when watching.
