i know it's far out from the show still, but i'd love to see some of these guys prepping for the show. I know many are doing NY pro too. but Montreal and NY pro are about 2 months apart if not more. We might not see pics until late August for guys in line for this show.
I think Dennis wolf can Take the show this year, with Darrem and Jonnie right behind. and if one of them is off, then Hide might slide in too...

PS: Milos, are you coming to MTL with Hide?

Directions: Stand at the corner of McGill College Street and St Catherine in Montreal, close your eyes, turn around a few times, extend your right arm, and point. Now open your eyes. This guy from france (Frederic Sauvage)
is really great, however i doubt he can pose a threat at a pro show $:-\$
he would kick ass at the nationals tho!
He could try to get bigger but i'm sure he'd ruin his physique.
How do you think he'd place in MTL?

yeah i know, its like thousands of people. unfortunately im not the kind of guy who'd go alone and meet people. I go with a nice gang of 4 or more and since many of my friends wanna go, i sat it out.

no doubt! Hide can easily crack a top 3 placing if he and Milos do their homework....but they ususally always hit it on the mark!

yeah that's the most recognized strip joint in the town.
U can't walk downtown for more than 2 blocks without spotting atleast 1 strip club! fantastic!

Clubs > Meds, Moomba, System, La Boom (it's ok), Opera (overated), club 1234 (snobby but ok)...apart from that there are maybe 20-25 clubs which are not big-time but have a good following. my fav: Moomba

pro gym, i actually train there from time to time with my GF, but not every single week because it's too long a drive for me! lol 20 mins almost.

equipment and space is like no other, but its kind of half half, they have a great variety of machines and dumbbells but not everything is "new" Its like the gold's gym in venice, people just go there because it's well known mostly. Definitely one of the best in MTL and if you're in the area, that is THE gym to be at. (warning: alot of hot chicks! many strippers!)

SWEET I am from Connecticut, about an hour from NYC. I been to Monster gym up there but heard about Pro Gym and havent been there since. I should be up for the Montreal grand prix, someone I know is getting me pitt passes. Not a race fan but wtf might as well come up for some fun. Thanks for the info, any idea how heavy the dumbells go up to in Pro Gym?

i was there on easter sunday morning, seeing as it was one of the few opened that day.
they got some new sick dumbells, very nice and comfortable.
they go up to 150 or 160 if i remember, very stable...
theyre solid iron, not a bunch of little plates.
they might have a bit heavier , but in the old-school db's...
they have about 3-4 DB racks there, with a vast range going up to atleast 100 on all of them.

Haha I train at the most convenient, closest gym, which is the YMCA just down the block. Not trying to be hardcore! It's actually a relatively cool place, lots of serious lifters, surprisingly (and lots of fatties, ab-crunchers, old men, and soccer moms, too).

I'm in NDG.
