ps3 and i don't even own one. after a month, my xbox stopped reading games completely. after some googling, i realize it's a common problem. xbox repairs them for free you just have to send them in. because of fear of lawsuits, they extended the standard 90 day warranty to a full year.

360. they fucked something up with the laser reader. you pop in a game (out of the wrapper) and it says something like "file not recognized, please insert an xbox 360 game".

negative, Xbox is king for a million reasons... here are a few

-more people have it, so few people have PS3
-Xbox live is infinitly superior to playstations set up... more user friendly, and there are hundreds of thousands of people playing on it... its impossible to get into a live game on PS3
-its less expensive, a lot less
-more games, better games
-halo

but the number one reason GEARS OF WAR... honestly probably the greatest online game ever, top five all around game for sure.... if you like vs. games, and are gunna use the live... xbox is 100% the way to go

but the number one reason GEARS OF WAR... honestly probably the greatest online game ever, top five all around game for sure.... if you like vs. games, and are gunna use the live... xbox is 100% the way to go

more expensive because it is still new....limited release last year. once the second push goes...along with a new lot of games, ps3 will be on top. marketing will drop the price, and release a large chunk of games to help with sales/ promotion

ps3 online is free, ps3 has blue ray, also ps3 will slowly catch 360 in sales and once Home comes out the online will surpass that of the 360's online, by the end of the year ps3 will have a lot more quality titles out, and there is no way gears of war is the best online game ever...... the person who thinks it is you cant have played many games online

I just bought an HD DVD for my xbox360 for $200 -- I play the hell outta Gears but also the xbox360 has 'achievements' which adds to your overall 'gamrescore' making the overall setup more competitive for players and it adds more appeal to players for example, people who would play 'NBA Street' would not on PS3 but would rather on 360 to increase 'gamerscore' and gain 'acheivements'

I have no games for my ps3, i just bought it for the blue ray disc....a sony blue ray costs $1,000...i got a ps3 for $600...and i still cannot tell a differnece between blue-ray and regular dvd's just the prices on them...i only like College football and Madden anyways...give it time....they are still trying to figure how to use the blue ray disc...go figure

the 360 is the better choice if you like Microsoft exclusives, and the PS3 is the better choice for Sony exclusives. The 360 will see less buggy 3rd party stuff due to the ease of developement, and more experience from game develpers. In other words, like Gears of War, Halo, Forza, PGR, RARE, and most 3rd party stuff, get a 360.

QOUTED FOR THE MOTHER FUCKING TRUTH! I only play my 360 every once in awhile but have it solely to play this game when I'm broke off my ass and cna't go out til the next pay day. LOVE gears AND not having played VG's for years, the only other game I've ever played beyong blowing drunk time at a friends house was Killer Instinct Gold. Had to buy a 64 for that game. Rumor has it they're supposed to be making it for 360 so that coupled with it's a dvd player as well and I needed a new one, it just seemed the better buy. So many accessory options with it as well.

I have a 360 and I just recently played the PS3 for the first time. I wasn't that impressed with the PS3, at this point --- in a year from know the games will probably dictact which system is better. PS3 has only a few games that look good on a high def tv, the 360 has several more because it has been out longer. The PS3 I used was buggy, the wireless controllers would disconnect randomly, despite being fully charged, Sony only includes one controller charge cable, so if you're playing with more than one, someone gets screwed when its tme to recharge. The online menus and options are harder to navigate through, and they use a weird phone-based keyboard to type with in the online mode as opposed to a straightforward virtual keyboard on-screen with the 360.

No brainer. Xbox 360, better online service and in side by side comparisons, the graphics actually look slightly better on the 360. The biggest misunderstood thing on the PS3 is the "power" it has. Technically, it is more powerful, however, you never really use close to all that power because of the way it processes information.
Not to mention games like Gears of War and Halo 3 are solely for the 360. Blue ray is a nice thing to have and the native 1920x1080 is a good perk on the PS3. I'd opt for the better online experience and Gears any day though. Even PS3's major game, Metal Gear Solid, will now be on the 360. So much for your "exclusive" blockbuster title. Must suck...hahah

I love the PS3, I got one for free a month ago on www.onlinerewardcenter.c om, there aren't as many titles just yet but in due time, I love the thing and I have had no technical diffuclty of technical issues whatsoever.

I did get the $600, 60GB version as well.

I can't get enough of the Tiger Woods PGA tour 2007, great game...
