the answer to this question is no, according to many interpretations of quantum physics. the photoelectric effect or wave/particle duality is collapsed into particles by consciousnous. this was shown in the double slit experiment. consciousnous is needed, it is an active participant. but consciousnous itself is a quantum event, so what collapses consciousnous? any ideas zach? its a paradoxical question. i admit your smarter then i gave you credit for.
