Precore 9.35i... Cost me 3500.00 bucks and worth every penny.  wake up, coffee, my eca and 30-45 on the treadmill with empty stomach.  2x at the gym was beginning to take a price (3am cardio, home shower, work, weights at 3pm), I work 9hrs a day at least running my business.  Spoke to Jay Cuter (he lives in my area) and he does the same thing, he bought the cardio machines for cardio whenever he wants.  Anyone own one of these?  Came with full 10yr warranty on all parts and motor with 5 years for labor.  If anyone is interested, I think this one was so far the best on the knees, better than lifefitness.  I'll keep ya posted on my results.

I have to say, I've been wishing for several years for one, and finally opportunity came and I grabbed it by the balls and got it.  Needless to say, people like you and I are not the kind of people to let it sit and collect dust!

Great, i have something similar and it's so convenient, along with some resistance equipment. Personally for that price i'd get an elliptical or stairmachine because they're easier on the joints but some don't have that worry.

running outside is free.

In my old neighborhood, that wasn't true.

The local gang charged a "street tax" that I would have to pay to avoid being bitchslapped for being on their block.

By the way, I live in the Desert, Las Vegas.  Running outside is not an option when it is 115 degree's.  Actually, going outside isn't even an option.

treadmill also takes a toll on the knees and lower back. Plus it's bigger, louder, and more expensive than all other equipment.

This machine I bought has special support, as well as an adusting belt so it mimics the running on natural ground.  It is sooooo much better on the knees "so far".  It is a very very reputable model and brand.

Well, I used to run cross country in high school....but that was like over a hundred pounds ago!!  ;D

Even with a treadmill I have to do intervals or just fast pace walk at a high incline.

But if I really had the choice, I'd get a stepmill  ;)

I clocked in for 45 minutes myself this morning.  We've also got a Precor, but it's not the same model you have.  We (my wife and I) also have a recumbent bike, which I use to warm up my knees for the first 15 minutes.

The Precor has been great.  I vary the speed and incline all throughout my 30-45 minutes and it's never given us problems - and I'm 240 pounds.

A little ECA, a little Sportscenter, and the 45 minutes flies by.  Congrats on the purchase . . .

Thanks daddy, I'm gonna get a bike my next purchase.  Also, a stepmill would be nice too, but the bike uses different muscles for when I'm sore and don't wish to run then I can ride.

For those that have cardio equipment at home.  How much cardio do you do it for and how often.  Just because its at home, doesn't mean you have to kill you're self on it, but a guideline you have followed would help me really judge howmuch I should do without getting bored, and killin myself.
