Something to consider in your mod vote

Not sure what Ron is planning for the V, but there is something to consider if he accepts a vote for mod:

You may think you'll never hit the "report to moderator" button but you should be aware that when you do, your email address can be seen by the moderator on the board in which you are reporting.

Some people have email addresses that include their names and some have their places of employment and some have both.   I believe that none of the present mods nor the past mod of this board would ever use that against someone so if you have reported in the past, do not be troubled by it.  If Ron goes the vote route, I just wanted everyone to be informed.

I don't ever think of someone who reports as a tattle tale.  Maybe that's why people mostly PM me instead of hitting the button

if it were a true "anything-goes" board then it wouldn't need mods at all. that's why i think when this is all said and done there will definitely a few ground rules, not the least of which is that posting of RL info will strictly taboo even if it is publicly available elsewhere. if that person wanted their info on here they'd put it there themselves.
