The promoter is a supplement store owner who brought him over for a day for an autograph session to help promote his store. I was talking to the promoter about a month before Paul came, and I knew it had been a while since he last competed, so I asked, "Is Paul still big?" And he goes, "pffff...yeah! Like 300 lbs! Unless you don't consider 300 lbs to be big?!" I was like, okaaay...I'll have to see this. It was a bit sad when I went there because he was just sitting alone on a table and not a single customer or fan was in the store. On the plus side, that gave me time to talk to him without having to worry about people in line behind me. We chatted for 10-15 minutes and watched a bit of the "The Unbelievable" video which was being played in the background in the store. Even though he wasn't big, I was still excited to see an old legend like him. During the 15 mins I was there only one other fan came in. The part came where Ronnie doing lateral raises wearing a tanktop and you can see all his back muscles, and Paul goes, "That's just sick!" He also said he felt no motivation to train or eat properly anymore, which is why I'm guessing he wasn't training much when those pics were taken. He goes, "if this was back in the day I'd be looking at my watch and thinking, it's been two hours since I had protein, I better get some more soon, whereas now I look at my watch and think, it's time to go to the strip club!"
