JET FUEL - Is it Crap?
« on: April 16, 2007, 06:54:43 AM »
I cannot handle ECA stacks.  I've tried several times, but even a small dose of ephedra makes me puke.
I don't do well on fat burners in general that make me jittery or upset my stomach.

SO....I've tried a bunch this year, and I finally found Jet Fuel - Thermogenic Liquid Caps from GAT.

I'm not up to the full dose yet (3 caps), but I seem to be able to handle 2 at a time without freaking out.  Of course, if it's not making me feel sick, I wonder if it's effective and/or worth it?

Anyone tried it?  What do you guys think of it?

:)

Not worth it. Didn't feel anything different on it.

Are you by chance taking creatine while you are taking ECA?   I have noticed that when I am on creatine, and I take ECA I get the same results. I do a few sets on weights, and I have to puke.

hahaha  NO.  I don't use creatine b/c all it does is fill me out with water.   :P

I tried the vasopro tabs for the ECA stack, and just used a 25 mg tab of the vasopro twice a day.  I couldn't hack it, I thought I was going to DIE, so the next day I cut the dose in 1/2 again and still puked.
I think that I may have had too many bad experiences with "mini thins" in college.  My body just says "NO" to ephedra now.   ;D

Hey Lori, just look who's "associated" with that crap supplement (not worth repeating) and that should say it all.. Seriously, look at the side of the bottle and see if they provide a list of ingredients?

There's other fatburners that are a lot better than this crap.

hahaha  I'll have to take a closer look.   ;)

Do you have any recommendations, AVBG?  Keeping in mind what I've said about ECA and the jitters, etc....If I can't handle the ECA, jitters, etc. then am I SOL with the over-the-counter fat burners?  Are any of them worth it?

A lot of those fat burners are just variations of each other.  What is your weakness when dieting? Is it hunger or felling tired.  One of the best supps is VPX Dietex.  It is non stimulant and it works by cutting the hunger craving.  Hoodia gets that hunger craving down so you can concentrate on your 6 small meals per day.  If I feel tired I take a caffeine pill.  That's it.  Non bronchiol dialators.  Small clean meals and cardio is all you need.

I think my weakness is lack of patience.  I just want to be lean ASAP.   ;D

I'm a caffeine junkie so I get plenty of that, and I seem to have a high tolerance for it, unlike ephedra.
I've always doubted the effectiveness of hoodia, but maybe I'll give it a try, as I am ALWAYS hungry.
