Funny I came away with the same thought. I wanted to grab him and say quit being such a little pussy man up and finish the fucking album, you don't need to be off everyfucking day by 4.

Nice to see a fellow drummer. I never got that snare sound at all w/ any band. Either have the thing punchy or more on the crisp side. Don't fucking over tighten the snare

I used to drum tech for a lot drummers in the past. Gadd is great, but Bozzio is a monster player.
His latest kit by DW.

Bozzio is a little to insane for me. I've always liked Simon Phillips.

Simon is great. I worked with Jonathan mover who is also a great player.
A real amazing drummer is this young guy from Dillinger Escape Plan, Chris Pennie....the kid is heading to a new level of playing.

A guy I used to hang out with and do gigs with Liam plays with Dillinger Escape Plan. I don't like their music to much.

James Hetfield's vocals suck.

Listening to kill em all and master of puppets, one can't bare to touch load, reload and st. anger.

Liam is cool. A hardcore vegan though. Ugh!!
DEP is something you either hate or love. It's some deep technical stuff.

Liam was really good friends with my singer and guitar player. They all went to highschool together. We were more friends of friends. He's been about the Vegan thing forever. A really nice dude though. Hell of a bassist. I thought he was good from way back like 10+ years now.

of those three, load was the better one.

Metallica is in the studio now making their latest album.  They say they're going back to their roots, who knows what that means

I loved the complex epic riffs and 7 minute songs from Lightning, Puppets, and Justice

Hammet is a great guitarist, but not for writing riffs. His solos fucking kick ass!

They've sold like 100 million albums, so are they going to write metal songs based on their experiences with expensive liquor and limos? ::) They're probably not motivated..
