No match for a real boxer. Not that the challenger "bear" is any sort of boxer but the dude's endurance sucks.

There is a video where he fights a cop from Detroit, I think this fella lacks the motivation to train like a boxer in the cardio department. He was totally gassed after about 3 minutes after landing some REAL GOOD shots on the cop, who also fought MMA. The cop's head was all swollen but "Kimbo" fights prison style in that he makes no attempt to dodge shots, I guess that is where he learned to fight. He just took the first few and pummelled the shit out of his opponent.

i didn't watch the video but that dude in them last pics there definetly looks like he could hold his own. i mean granted he ain't SF's 315 pnds at 2% bf, but for a fighter he's obviously got some strength,speed, and skill. would i fight him maybe in a freindly spar, or if i had to. but not if it was just a match for me thinking i was bigger cuz then i'd get my a$$ whooped.

Wonder how much is side bet money and what each fighter brings home? Winner take all? Can charge anywhere from $40 to $100+ a head for the crowd at some I have been to.. Did not see any markers (bookies) taking odds or bets during the fight clips. Hope these fighters are not doing this for nothing. Some very nice looking women come to some of those things.. Seen a few guy's stitched up right after the fight sitting on the floor or old box. Bare knuckles do a lot of damage. Some will use leather gloves/wraps (very rare) which do even more damage than bare knuckles. At times, a few guys will try to hid a roll of quarters (or a small lead bar) in their close fist when wearing gloves or even the bare hand fights. Showing open hands before the match starts is a gesture of respect for each other, some do not even that. Usually a scatter gun around, loaned with impacts and not real ammo, to threaten crowd control if thing get too heated. Not to worry about the fighters, it's the potential mini riot when alcohol/drugs and betting money is combined in these events.
