Ode to a Plastic Woman

Lately it has occurred to me that there has been a shift in how men define beautiful women. I don’t mean one- night -stand girls, but the kind of women that men want to be with, to be in a relationship with.

My question to the men on this board is this:

Has the surgically altered woman become the new ideal? Has the natural woman become dull, old fashioned, sexually unappealing?

I ask this because I can remember a time when girls who had extreme plastic surgery, were scoffed at by most normal men and only admired for their stripping or porn skills. But it seems today that surgically altered women, and especially ones that appear obviously altered, have become the new ideal, more sought after than the natural looking women. And what’s even more interesting is I don’t think many of the younger generation can tell the difference. Or can they?

This new beauty shift first occurred to me this past winter when I was in Hollywood with my partner having lunch at a sidewalk café. It was a beautiful California day the sun was warm and making me feel good. A woman popped out of the adjacent store. She was striking; she turned heads as she moved down the sidewalk and then into the café. She was confident and knew everyone was looking at her. From a distance, to most people, she was a perfect 10, but to me she was obviously surgically altered.

She must have been 15 years older than she appeared.  I could tell instantly tell what she had changed: the breasts were done, the butt lifted, the back of the arms raised too, the lips were plumped, the nose done for sure, forehead froze, neck sucked, tummy tucked.

Well, when she left the café and disappeared into the Hollywood sun, a young Mexican stock boy comes running out asking us if we saw her. He was out of breath, and in shock. I said sure I did.

He said, with eyes stunned, “wasn't she incredible?”

I said “yea I guess, but she’s had a lot of work done”. Then he gave me a look.

At first I thought he was mad at me for criticizing his muse, his perfect creature. No way had she had plastic surgery!  What in Gods name was I talking about? But that wasn’t it, that’s not what he was saying at all.

I realized in that moment something changed. A new generation gap had been forged right there on Santa Monica Blvd. I was on one side and he was on the other.

I remember when I used to give that look to the older guys of my childhood. The ones that shook their heads at me and my friends at how we live, dress, and ridiculed our tastes and values (and even bodybuilding).  I used to think poor souls; they were so out of it, so old. Glad I’m not them. They just don’t get it.

That was the look this little shit was giving me. There I was being owned big time. Of course she was perfect!! How can I not see that? And of course he knew she was surgically created. It didn't matter!!! I was just some idiot guy from the olden days who didn’t get it and never will.

How did that happen? There I was under the Southern Californian sun that just a minute ago made me feel young and alive, now it was burning through me like a magnifying glass. I was on other side of the generation gap. How did I not see it coming?

So I ask you guys because I really don’t get it: Do you prefer a girl who has been surgically altered more than a naturally beautiful woman? When you are with a natural woman do you feel like you were missing something? What does the surgically altered woman offer you that a natural woman cannot aside from the plastic?

Before you even respond I am going to go out on a limb and say this:  If you do think these women are ideal and that is indeed what you want, then I am going to say that you are making a big mistake. These women are basket cases and I don’t believe they will ever be happy. I think you should respect and love the natural woman.  They are beautiful.

You may say I am wrong, but remember this; those old guys from my past? …..They were right about a lot of things.

I agree - go with the natural woman. Now having said that - I have NO problem with a woman fixing a problem with her nose, or a boob job in GOOD TASTE. BUT....these women that get EVERYTHING done just shows that they are insecure and very superficial. The biggest thing I see are the bee stung lips - and honestly they have no idea how stupid they look.

I'm sure glad I don't live in California/Hollywood.  Small imperfections are what makes natural unique beauties.

I like Cher but her plastic surgery was done more tastefully and she looked very well after herself to start with.
If plastic surgery is obvious I don't like it...........

Get the fuck out of here, you queer. No one gives a shit to what you have to say. I hate gays. I hope they all get AIDS and die a slow, painful death. There is nothing more disgusting than you guys polluting my society with your filfth. I am tired of seeing gays in the media getting glorified because they know interior decorating and like taking in the ass. And everyone who disagrees with me can go fuck themselves, ok? Bite me!!!!!!!!
