a little bit ago a buddy of mine decided to enter a bodybuilding contest. in good shape normally and a casual gymgoer, his girlfriend is an aerobics instructor and he decided he'd do a show with her.
he had 8 weeks to get ready for the show and did an extremely strict bodybuilder type diet. ate extremely cleanly, high protein, all whole food sources like tuna and chicken. no wine, no fish, no sugary foods.
realize that not only did he get far leaner far faster than any adonis principle devotee, but at the end he's about the same size as the man himself despite starting out smaller.
myself it's been three weeks and i'm down around 20 pounds. no pictures for the time being, that'll wait until the end.
