True, but I was commenting on the fact that it's a lion not where it's from. By the way, either you're really small or that's the thickest Mountain Lion I've ever seen. I thought they were usually between 75-125 lbs. that one looks to be around 150 lbs.

That reminds me of hunting stories involving my grandpa. In the 70's he went hunting in the Sundarbans and killed several tigers in excess of 300 kg, which I think is over 600 pounds.

Thats really cool. I don't really like the idea of killing animals unless its for survival but tigers would be a scary freaking hunt.

And this was in magrove jungles too where the tide floods the jungle basin.. I think the bengal tiger is the only cat in the world that likes to swim.

These days they're protected because of international pressure.

The Sundarbans is one of the few places where the cats actively prey on people. And they're stalk predators so when people walk in a series the last guy on the line wears a mask on the back of his head and this actually works from what I hear.

The bengal region was full of tigers back in the early british colonial days but hunting the deforestation took them out. The place where my mother was born was full of leopards, tigers and elephants but now they're gone along with the forests that housed them.
