Calories and AAS use
« on: April 25, 2007, 10:04:29 AM »
I know that there are  a lot of variables but  is  there a minimual numbers of calories a person should consme a day while taking AAS.  I am on sust and eq and wanted to gain some size but loose some body fat around the waste area.  I am not sure that this is possible and I understand that it is best to be at a low body weight before going on AAS.  You help and suggestions are welcomed!!

If your goals are to gain some size & lose somebody fat I would recommend just keep your calories the same or maybe only up them about 10% & maybe add some cardio. I did that this time around & was really happy with the results (gained muscle with little or no bloating).

What Rim said is right, but if you're someone who puts on fat easily, then this might not be the best route for you to take. If you do fall into the easy fat gaining category, and you want to reach the goals you stated, you might consider simply eating your maintenance daily cal. With the added AAS and a bit of cardio, you might, (emphasis on Might) be able to pull this off. However, don't expect to put on massive amounts of muscle when eating like this, even with drugs.

Don´t try to lose FAT while trying to gain, you´ll only fuck up. You will not get bigger and you will not lose FAT either...

I understand that it is best to be at a low body weight before going on AAS.

What the hell?
So you´re saying that it´s good to be small before going on gear?
That does not make any sence dude, you should ALREADY be big and strong before going to the DARKSIDE and only use AAS to help with the process as you have achieved you´re genetic limitations. Obviously alot of guys are using way before they are suppose to, because they are impatient and just lazy. Pick you´re goal, either go for the size of low BF, but don´t try to do it at the same time.

BTW you said that you "want to loose some fat around youre waist, spot reduction is a fantasy, at least without lipo suction. When you DIET you´ll lose fat all over.

GOOD LUCK.

So what is the proper ratio in your opinion for a clean bulk, 18x calories, 40,40,20?  Or higher fats?  Higher carbs?

HAHAHHAAH, nail meet head...great post!

This dude shouldn't have even thought of gear if he was looking to reduce bodyfat in the "waste area"

Have you tried the Ab Lounge, it's supposed to hit those problem areas like none other.  I'd look into it.
