Big board / draft thread
« on: April 25, 2007, 07:49:11 PM »
This is my big board. These are the players I feel the pats will be targeting. The patriots have 10 draft picks including 2 first rounders this year. I expect them to trade down/out of one of the first rounders. I think they will use one of those first rounders to trade down into the second round, and net a high 08 pick also. The pats tend to draft best player available regardless of position (for there system).Players will drop and rise. I am very high on Meriweather. He is one guy I hope they nab. After that brawl his stock dropped. He is a top talent. I think he is the second best safety next to Landry. He can play corner also, which makes him very valuable in NE's system. The bolded players are guys I am high on in the NE system.

Post some of your own boards that include players you think your team is targeting.

if they somehow trade faneca to the cards they will take OT Joe Thomas

if not they will take either:

DB Darrelle Revis
LB Lawrence Timmons
DE Adam Carriker

might possibly trade down and if they do they will take:

DE Anthony Spencer
LB Jon Beason
LB Paul Poslusny

I have know clue about the rest of the rounds

I understand but I don't see the Steelers trading away a proven pro bowler.
I think the Card would ask for 2 much, lets say Faneca, the Steelers #1 and another pick.
The Steelers are one of the best teams at building throught the draft and I don't see them giving up
proven talent and draft picks.

belive me :-\ I'm a Giants fan,I wish we drafted like your boys.

well i think the raiders came away alright this off season. i give em  a B+...michael bush for randy moss (in essence with the trade for the draft pick) was an awsome move. now all we need in keyshawn johnson and we will have a solid team...(yeah i know im overlookin the glaring holes in the o line) but everything else is good.
