Ok so back after the olympia and especiall the arnold, everyone noticed Ruhl's odd chest shape.
he even fired down a question about it on his website :

and in Ruhls column (page 416) he states

WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PEC?
...Apparently, it was a slight tear. I just had a minor surgery on it last week and i'm hoping it heals up and looks fine for the olympia. I have another surgery scheduled for after the olympia to fix it completely.......

I know this guy had alot of fans, (me included....) but shit! why be such a hypocrite?
anyways just thought i'd let yall know he finally grew a pair of balls, and admitted it.

yeah but jay is NOT the best mr olympia we've had (structurally)
and that's IF desmond plays his cards right...he can end up
going the route of many pros...downhill.
but i think he will fair well at the NY pro.

Competitors never admit their weeknesses, it just gives the competition an edge, it's his own career he's protecting, of course he denied it for a bit. And it's not hypocritical to change your position on something, just fickle.
