Treatment for bad acne?

My friend has terrible acne to the point where people think he's using gear. He tried accutane and proactive and those did nothing for him. Anyone know of anything else?

Pantothenic Acid, high doses of up to 10grams(not milligrams, grams)  until the acne is reduced then a maintenance dose of 2-3g a day.  I have gotten a lot of really satisfied customers using this protocol.
