Spider-Man 3 took the top slot from Pirates of the Caribbean 2 on Friday, marking the biggest U.S. opening day ever.

The film took in $59 million, coming in far ahead of Pirates's $55.8 previous best.

Spidey is expected to take in between $135 to $145 million this weekend.

And Kirsten Dunst probably thinks its all thanks to her!

I actually haven't seen the Matrix movies, but he sure hit the jackpot with those... I guess somewhere down the line you're ok with someone like Al Pacino getting paid, but Keanu Reeves doesn't deserve it.
