This month Flex mag was after a long long looong ass time the first edition that was imho ...
informative (you can never read to much about low Carb if you are in the middle of cutting)
interesting (A day at cutlers home was pretty good and the Top 30 things we don't know about Pumping Iron)
nostalgic (A Bicep workout with Loui that didn't cost you $20)
funny (The Bodybuilder of the month was teh funny)

All in all a good edition...

I'm the first one that bashes FLEX and MD for beeing overly add cluttered, but I'm honest this month FLEX is a little different to me, don't know why... so stop observing the obvious for once ok?

When I first got into BB i read all the mags (pre internet) Funny thing is if you pick one up now its the same stuff from 15 years ago just re-hashed. There really has been no new revolutionary ways to get huge in the last 20 years or so. Now I will pick one up form time to time maybe buy one or two a year.

i think I pick the up mostly because they do fit in right in my way of bodybuilding lifestyle... I mean do I need to tan? Not really especially in ireland were there is more rain than sunshine, but when people ask me why I tan I say because it fits in with my lifestyle to stay healty and look healty.
I think buying Flex reading MD and other Bodybuilding related books is just another way to "support" your Hobby, Lifestyle what ever you want to call it.

Word, I usually pick one up if I'm in an airport, with no laptop with me. If the layover is long I'll cough up the money for a Mag. Since they are all pretty much the same, I'll usually pick the one with teh hottest chick on the cover.

I usually fly to Michigan once per month, I use to pick a mag or two to read on the plane. Then I realized that the fuckers are like $6 a pop, so I switch to books instead, I lot cheaper
