Cutler....Truuuly *Da man*
« on: May 07, 2007, 11:40:04 AM »
You gotta give it up for this man.In the era of faulty attitudes ,assholian personalities and killer morals *cough* , this man stands head and shoulders above the rest

Imho , he`s the most respected pro around.Has this guy ever been in  lame childish ,name calling, crap slinging, chracter assassinating feud with *anybody* ? Not that i recall

When he won the Mr O , it was with grace. In his interviews he had tonnnsss of humility, stating still that Coleman was off and he was just better on the day.Still though Coleman ,an 8x MR O,slung a `one white mans opinion` lame ass line at him

I recall reading in a flex mag once , that when he was in Flex Wheelers last pro show , the IRONMAN 93 , he was cheering wheeler on from the sidelines , class

Like his physique or not , the greatest respect on the pro stages goes to this man , peer respect especially

I guess the boys themselves would attest to this

Why not, at least he seems to have a plan (not like so many other bb) what he is going to do as soon as he is finished with BB, he's a smart man that's for sure.

You mean the 2003 Ironman

at the olympia 07 , as far as im concerned he took the bodybuildingon another level, in terms of powerful phisique

At the 2007 O, #3-5 took bodybuilding to another level. If Ronnie was his 2005 condition, Jay would still be number 2...with wrinkles in his back

again , any1 can try and rip his physique to shreds and berate it

But as far as respect and charatcer goes , this man is in a different league to others

Why is it now that Ronnie is out people question the man's character. The man has competed a long time and has never had a beef with anybody. He just lifted weight and kept quite. So he might have said one wrong thing...
I 'm willing to bet that Ronnie and Jay have more respect for one another than what some of you might think.

I guess it is true, you can be nice all the time, but the one time you f up, people will always remember that one time. Remember that Jay...

People may praise you today for your character, but the one time you slip, people will alway remeber it.

Ofcousre i mean `03 ironman , duhh - twas a typo

Ronnies not a bad man , ofcourse not.He awesome too.It just that Jay is different and respectful in many ways, and for that he in my opinion is the most respected guy out there today

I dont believe Jay ever accused anybody of `smokin de creck`

Ron was rude to Jay by never acknowledging him as a threat to his title , but went to martinez rather yet jay beat his ass in 01 and finished on his heels the rest of the time

Oh and after the Olympia, ronnies personallity had split sooo many times.First he said that he got beat , then he said he didint believe he did. That Jay had his `onewhite mans opinion` moment

Ron was not acting like a champ then , and its totally understandable because of his shock at losing, but he was rude nontheless

In Jays ultimate moment of triumph he stil acknowledged Ronnie and gave him his hand.Even after that he dedicated his win to all the guys who fought for the crown but never succeeded

But Ronnies a great guy too , dont get me wrong.Im just saying that Jay has the respect and it IS especially since he has the crown - that it makes it even more admirable when he is humble

Almost all champs, when they F up, rarely put the blame squarely on themselves (or Chad), they lash out and blame others

I don't see where saying somebody, "is smokin' crack" is derogatory. It's funny, it's like saying, "you must of bump your head, or on some strong liquor". It means one is absurd in what they are talking about.

Didn't he throw a fit and threaten to sue when he got caught using Lasix?

That's my recollection.  :)

But given his generally high level of behavior in everything else, I'm willing to shrug that off as simply an assertive defense of his professional standing. I certainly can't think of anyone else who would have foregone that option as being beneath them in some way.

No "He must be smoking that crack" is not a funny comment, it's meant to be a slap in the face of Jay.  He now it came back to bit him in the ass.

Brother, "smoking crack" is just funny.

If you're offended by that, you're probably watching too much "The Walton Family" or "LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE" and OD'ing on family values.

Neither is it a problem with Coleman not showing Cutler enough "respect" as a contender.

Cutler just shut him up. That was a good way of showing him who's the man.

The "white man's opinion", is another matter though, and the interviewer should've put Coleman on the spot for it, refusing to let him cop out, but making him explain what he meant.

In the end, Coleman's the one who's lost sympathy.

You know nothing.

The greatest insult coming from "Ron" was to skip the radio show (PBW) for shaky reasons. A slap in the face of all fans (excluding "Glen" who would take it from "Big Ron" in any horrifices).

Jay was gald to do so.

I'm a Cutler fan dude all the way, and R.Coleman is slowly fading away which i think he should eventually consider of retiring the sport at the top.
