At least they are being smart and not rehashing the "terminator goes back to the past to kill Sarah/John Connor" plots and are concentrating on John Connor's battles against the machines in the future.  Could actually be a pretty good story if they do it right. 

Big question is, who would make the best Terminator(s) to battle in the future?  I vote for Gunter as Terminator #1.

Funniest thing would be a bit showing the human/machine that created the terminator and have him/it speak with a German accent.  It would answer the question of why a terminator would be created with such strongly accented english.

That is a very good point.  If they're going to do more T stories, they should have one where a Terminator of Color gets sent back through time to kill crackhead mother of the future Shaniqua Jackson and her 3 time Breakdancing Champion son Darnell.

Or Maria Gonzales and son Pedro, pursued relentlessly along the Rio Grande by Juan El Carnicero, from one border town to another, trying to escape to safety and freedom en Los Estados Unidos.

As long as the plot reflects the situation of the majority of the people of a particular ethnic group, I think it's a great idea.

Mrs Chow is forced to flee her take-away restaurant with her son (who just scored an impressive 1550 on his SATs) when an indestructible samurai bursts through the door, intent on killing them both.  Many a martial arts melee ensues.  Guest starring Jet Li, Jackie Chan, and Mako.

Ideas for conclusions:
- Darnell could busta vicious series of rhymes with such intensity that the terminator's head just explodes.
- Pedro could discover his dormant talent as a Matador when, by some circumstance, he is cornered by The Terminator with only a sword and a red cape for his defense!


I'm just brainstorming here.  Whatever reflects the varied tapestry of our world.  Remember that scene when Reece returns with food?  Some ham, Wonder Bread, mayo.  Lotsa possibilities there.
