Is anyone really surprised at this anyway? I see white kids blasting rap from their cars ALL THE TIME.

Even my nephews listen to that garbage. My protestations have zero effect.

So did I. I still have old Snoop, Biggie and Tupac on my MP3 player but the new crap is something entirely different.

BTW, my nephews throw that in my face all the time. Why can't they listen to rap today when I used to listen to Snoop, Biggie and Tupac. I tell them to listen to "Gin and Juice" or "California Love" to tell the difference but it's too subtle a difference for 12-15 year olds to differentiate.

There was also Run DMC, Ice-T (before Law and Order) and Big Daddy Kane... That's old school... Even before there was a Snoop or even before Dre was NWA. (Although I do admit, I love the NWA sound... E, Ren, Ice Cube, Dre back in the day... good stuff.)
