Well, how would you suggest we get Mr. Avidan down to a healthy weight then??

Not starving himself, that's for sure....if Ron wants help, he will ask for it.

First we need to know  what he is currently eating, time he is going to bed and what stress factors that are going for a start.

Stress factors are easy....     1200 "report to moderators" a day as a result of Jimmy's actions alone.

Also, being a sex symbol to hundreds of pro and national-level figure chicks I'm sure can be stressful for him.

Ron has a family to take care of and getbig.com server bills to pay!  (not necessarily in that order  :D)...   It would be bad if he keeled over and croaked, capise?  We would prefer that he stick around for awhile.

I weigh 252 pounds, and am 6'1".  I have every excuse in the book - two little kids at home, working 10+ hours a day (and that is not regarding this site), taking care of myriad of other projects, and much more.

The truth is that I have not set my mind to get into the mode to push myself to get in shape - every excuse in the book won't help me there. So after this week ends, I will try to get myself in the mode, Milos' seminar might do the trick...

Hey, they call me Yogo or Fred Flinstone, that is ok, I have stayed the same weight for about 3 years now (actually lost a few pounds), but between bagels and Orange Chicken...

Yes, concern for my health is nice, and hopefulyl by the Olympia, will be where I want to be.

But being a bodybuilding fan comes in many sizes and shapes. I am always amazed that some of you think to be a fan, you need to be in tip top shape. Get with it, most of the people who go to the expos and shows are not the mass monsters, but the ones who enjoy the sport, the expo and the respect one gives for the dedication, training, and hard work to come into the shape you want to be. It is inspirational.

ill try to be sensitive you seem like a sensitive individual no harm intended only to extend your life, without putting time into 'time consuming' exercise. key word is 'time' for your family and what you do buddy. i dont always lift, i could get away with not always try to be a beast to impress getbig ect. but i will remain at LOW BODYFAT by FASTING.

you will notice you will get things done in a quicker manner if you dont mind me suggesting...what a great story it would make, your success is losing fat and accomplishing more with your personal priorities

Fasting is not always a bad thing when done correctly, but the following is true:  Controlled Fasting is better healthwise than whatever Ron is currently doing.

True.  There are many studies to show calorie restricted diets are healthy - I would say the data even reflects they are the healthiest, outright.

Ron probably just eats "whatever".  Often "whatever" won't make you full but will contain lots of calories.

I think 9/10 of the work is done by adhering to some basics:

lay low on sugers
use whole grain products
not too much fat.
eat lots of veggies

Try to make your own meals, consistenly chowing down on cantine and supermarket food will get you fat.

BTW when you start to ditch the donuts and sweets inbetween you will get less and less dependent on those fast sugars.
Give the body time to adapt to more complex carbs.

that's a good point actually, it would actually be easier because you wouldn't have to take time out to eat but just think how fuccking miserable you'd feel, you'd be the first to admit that fasting just isn't necessary.
Not to mention if your working crazy hours your gonna neeed to focus. YOu can't focus on a empty stomach. I mean you may not to need to focus that much flipping burgers but in a real job your mind gotta be sharp and that's not possible with an empty stomach.

the guy isn't that heavy DW, especially compared to the 350-400 pound slobs you see here in the Midwest, the guy is like 6'1" and maybe 245-250 lbs. so i wouldn't call the man obese in any way.

no wonder you are fat  ::)
