Dice K only allows 1 run in complete game vs tigers

9 innings, 5k's , 0 walks, 1 run in a complete game performance vs the Tigers tonight! Took him 120 pitches to do it. Considering the tigers are the second best team in the AL this was quit an accomplishment. The tigers are a very good team with a very good offense. Dice was in complete control, and showed awesome command. He induced 16 ground outs, struck out 5, walking zero and, allowed only the 1 run over nine innings of work. You never see complete games anymore. Tonight was awesome!

Another 8 strong from Dice K today. In a light rain no less. Sox crush the braves 13 -3 in game one of a double header. Dice has a 1.87 era over the last three starts. Dice has pitched 24 of the 27 innings in his last three starts. Dice improved to 6-2 with this win. Mike Lowell is an absolute monster at the plate this year. 5 rbi's today including a grand slam. Props to Lowell for another awesome performance tonight. Mike's grand slam was crushed, made it all the way on to the pike.

Should be interesting to see how Hansack does in his first real start since he was called up last year to face Baltimore.

Awesome pitching performance from Dice k last night. Could have been his best of the year.

He was DEALING, a shame our offense is so maddeningly ineffective right now.

Lugo has to go, he's a liability at this point, I say send him down to Pawtucket and let him straighten himself out. Did you see the hissy fit he pulled yesterday when Francoma pinch hit for him? What a joke, the guy's hitting .186 and he's pissed off about being pinch hit for.

And what's up with Papi and Manny's power numbers this year? Their homerun numbers are way way down and their RBI numbers aren't much better. Those two used to be an absolutely devastating 3-4 combo, not anymore.
