Author Topic: Manny Hoeberl, 25 1/2 inch arms (Read 6757 times)

I had competed with Manfred in a couple strongman contests back in the early 90's. He was the real deal, his arms were immensely strong. I don't know if synthol does that. He was a cool dude to hang out with too, always the life of the party. Always had a ton of chicks around him too. It's a shame his career was cut short just as he was on the brink of winning it all.

Shortly after coming in second place in the 1994 WSM contest (by a ball hair to Magnusson) Hoeberl was in a very serious car accident and never recovered. He has since taken up trying to start a magazine and has promoted a few big strongman shows around the world.

He is strange guy, for all the publicity he seeks there are very few pictures of him around. These are the same five that have been around for years.

Yeah, wouldn't mind seeing some more recent ones of him too. See if he kept up with his training at all. Anyone know what the extent of his injuries were from the accident?

true and i am moron number 2.

manfred had a pretty good job done on his arms and at least he had forearms that were nearly proportionate.

i don't think the extra shit he had in there helped in the wsm comps though, particularly when it came to stones, etc. good job marketing them though.
